Our Guest Houses

The guest rooms of the Max Planck Institute are available to employees and their relatives, as well as guests of the Max Planck Institute.
 

A total of 38 rooms are available in both guest houses of the Max Planck Institute, whereby one apartment with 3 rooms is designed barrier-free. The guest house rooms are divided into single and double rooms. Baby cribs can also be provided in both guest houses.

 

The Louise Kerckhoff Guest House at Frankfurter Straße 109 is only a 5-minute walk away from the new building of the institute and is located directly opposite of the beautiful park of Bad Nauheim. A bus station is down the street and the train station is within walking distance.

The guest house has 8 apartments, each of which is divided in up to 5 fully equipped guest rooms. It was opened in 2014 and constructed to high quality standards. It conforms to latest requirements in energy efficiency, is equipped with noise protection windows, automatic room ventilation and electric roller shutters.

 

At Parkstraße 1, the guest rooms are located directly in the historic building of the Max Planck Institute and thus also offer a very convenient way to get to work. It is located right next to the park, directly at the city center and therfore close to stores, restaurant, cinema and bars.

The guest house has eleven completely equipped guest rooms that have been renovated in 2017. Five rooms have their own bathroom with shower and toilet, the rest have bathrooms for shared use. A fully equipped kitchen is available.
