I am a developmental cell biologist with long-term interest in understanding how self-organized tissue dynamics emerge during embryonic development. I did my PhD with Alpha Yap (UQ, Australia), where I dissected the mechanisms regulating epithelial homeostasis by studying Rho GTPase signaling. In 2016, I moved to Didier Stainier’s lab to work on heart morphogenesis by taking unique advantages of the zebrafish model system.
