    • Subham completed his training in Microbiology and obtained Bachelor’s degree in 2020, from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, India, under the University of Calcutta. He then pursued his Master’s degree at the Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2022. During his master’s dissertation he joined the Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata, India where he worked on the regulation of mitochondrial fission fusion dynamics by oncogenic transcription factor. He continued to work in the same lab as a research assistant afterwards and explored mitochondrial structure function dynamics. In March, 2025 he joined the Sutandy’s lab as a PhD student where he is exploring the role of molecular chaperone in mitochondrial protein homeostasis.
