    • By using regenerative animal models, I am interested in identifying and studying molecular and cellular modulators of tissue regeneration.  Specifically, I aim to understand how the immune system defines the spectrum of regenerative outcomes post-cardiac injury.  Currently, I am dissecting the immune response following zebrafish cardiac injury, towards ultimately identifying mechanisms with the potential to ameliorate adverse remodeling and improve key aspects of heart regeneration.
