Research Scientist/Post-Doc
The Max-Planck-Institute for Heart and Lung Research, Kerckhoff Institute, Department of Lung Development and Remodelling
offers the position of a Research Scientist / Post Doc. Applicants should have a strong molecular/cellbiological background and should be able to design and conduct experiments independently. They should prepare and present their work at international meetings and write scientific manuscripts and grant applications.
The applicant needs a PhD in biology,biochemistry, medicine or veterinary medicine or a related discipline, possibly supported by post qualification experience in pathology and a knowledgeable background in general cell biology. The candidate should have the capacity to handle innovative research activities within a flexible multidisciplinary environment where high-quality results are expected. Publication record must include first-author papers in scientific journals.
