Research Scientist/ Post-Doc in Cardiovascular Pharmacology

The Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research, Department of Pharmacology (Director: Prof. Dr. Stefan Offermanns) offers the position of Research Scientist/ Post-Doc.


The position is available to study the pharmacology and pathophysiology of G-protein-coupled receptors and downstream signaling pathways in the cardiovascular and metabolic system. Techniques include siRNA screens, generation of genetic mouse models using gene targeting and BAC transgenic techniques, and in vivo pharmacology including animal experiments.


We seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated scientist who has good skills in molecular and cell biology as well as in cardiovascular in vivo and in vitro techniques.
